Now that Beyoncé is up the duff and living in semi-seclusion to avoid pressed haters, the baton has been passed to Ms Kelly to keep R&B alive until her return. And the soul legend isn't letting a moment go to waste. She established herself as Aretha Franklin for 2011 on the hyper-sexual "Motivation" and continues slay sad pretenders like Rihanna on "Lay It On Me". The Slick production, Big Sean and a chorus more infectious than the STD she caught filming the video make "Lay It On Me" a radio-ready smash. And let's face it, those softcore antics can't hurt. Bey's BFF makes a fool of herself grinding on a bunch of half-naked men (think Kylie's "All The Lovers" as produced by Titan Media) and cavorting with an elephant but it's so over-the-top, it kind of works. I particularly like the incredibly unsubtle phallic imagery that runs through the clip. Let's just say no mother is going to buy their child a slinky ever again after seeing this hot mess. Ms Kelly, you've done it again!

Gone head Ms. Kelly. "Pressed haters"is so funny, I loved that. Bey will come back and snatch wigs again. No doubt. Today is Ms. Kelly's time to shine though.
Kelly clearly learned a thing or two about swagger-jacking from Beyonce http://necolebitchie.com/2011/10/13/did-kelly-rowlands-video-director-rip-her-off/
I saw that. I find it amusing that Kelly gets a pass for recreating an entire video, while Beyonce CLEARLY pays tribute to an old ballet - one of at least 20 references in that clip - and she's a thief.
But at the same time, I'll give Kelly a pass. Chances are she has no idea who Livvi Franc is - which is sad because I stan for that bitch - and wouldn't want a recycled idea.
And in any case, neither of these is as shady as Rihanna's S&M. Or Gaga's Born This Way.
The huge difference is, obviously, that both videos were done by the same director. Basically, it's hard to rip off your own work since it's your idea originally, which is why she gets a free pass.
If they were done by different directors it would be another deal of course.
To be honest, I don't think that makes a jot of difference. I bet Livvi is still feeling pressed in her council flat.
It does make difference though - I mean, nobody can accuse Sarah for plagiarising her own work, unless she develops split personalities.
The fundamental problem with videos like Countdown, S&M or the obvious Express Yourself sample in Born 2 B A Douche is that they have permission to use them. Sarah, obviously, doesn't need to ask permission to recycle her own bloody work.
Yes, it's lazy as hell but at the end of the day she's not done anything that's possibly illegal.
Just a correction: they DON'T have permission to use them. D'oh!
It's not illegal though. You can take parts of work and re-interpret them. It's called a tribute/homage/reference!
The reason why Rihanna got sued is that she copied a work in its entirety (ie. one of LaChappelle's photographs).
And if you're looking at it from the director's point of view - go after Adria Petty not Bey.
Double standards as usual! It's not easy being a 16-time, era-defining, Grammy winner.
"as produced by Titan Media," ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!
I feel some Khia influence here.
poor keely she is low rent whore while b get another grammy!!!!
Countdown does copy entire scenes though. Your denial about this issue is hilarious, because it's obvious you're completely delusional about it.
Poor Beyoncé stans - first the fake pregnancy and now this... better drown your sorrows in that bottle!
Poor DESPERATE Ms Smelly - even parading about like an oversexed porn starlet and she STILL can't get a hit! Though props for the Remy plug and the reasonably hot rentacrapper
