@m8er's Revenge!

Australia's answer to Lily Allen and Katy Perry (according to Universal Music's highly accurate press release) has returned to the pop scene in a blaze of victorious glory with a hot new song. Of course I'm talking about @m8er, who triggered a shit storm of biblical proportions when her debut single hit the net late last year. "Kill That Bitch" - a spiritually uplifting jam about all the people she would like to murder - rubbed just about everyone the wrong way and was generally written off as one of the worst songs ever recorded. Naturally, I loved it and spent a memorable afternoon hanging out with Am8er (as she is now called) at Stonewall discussing the outpouring of hate and her future plans. During our hot date she mentioned recording a duet with Lil' Kim and promised to keep on the grind until Australia changed its mind about her. 9 long months passed without a peep but the pop revolutionary has finally returned to deliver the goods. Her Lil' Kim collaboration "10 Date Commandments" is catching fire on radio and fans are warming to her unique style if the song's rapid ascent on 2DayFM's Top 30 is any indication (vote for her here). H8trz will continue to hate but the song is a massive improvement on "Kill That Bitch" and provides a treasure trove of insightful advice including such pearls of wisdom as "no rooting on the first date". Am8er should write a self help book! The fiery diva kindly sent over some pics from the soon to be released video and it looks epic. Lil' Kim is sex on legs as usual but Am8er wins the fashion stakes with her lumberjack's cap and tartan trousers. I can't wait to see the finished product!

I've also posted a remix of the song. The original version is vastly superior but this gives you the general idea until the radio mix is uploaded. Hint. World domination can only be a matter of months away!

Amber's music is horrible. This song is only passsable because of Kim, but just knowing that it's Amber on the track ruins it. I can never listen to her after the dreadful "Kill that Bitch" and the other songs on her MySpace. If Amber was a nice person then I could take her more seriously, but anything I've seen of her she is just horrible. She was really rude to a lot of Australian media, and even tweeted me something nasty once when I don't even know her.

She should be proud that she's created some of the worst music in history, because you have to be pretty bad to get that title. Not even so bad it's good, or so bad that SOME people would like it, literally so bad that it's the worst thing ever created in the history of mankind.

I don't know how she got a good song like 10 Date Commandments, but her lyrics ruin it anyway. Because Kim isn't Australian she didn't understand how lame a lot of the Aussie slang is that Amber uses, and everyone knows Kim was having financial problems around the time she got offered to cut this track, so she was probably accepting offers from anybody who would pay her.

If Amber adjusts her attitude and starts treating people with respect then I could give her more of a chance, but she's an evil witch and her music is offensively bad.

"Kill that Bitch" wasn't even cute of tongue in cheek. It was cruel and vicious, and why would she call Lionel Richie "Slimey". Fair enough to attack boring Nicole, but Lionel is a legend he didn't do anything wrong. Whoever sings a negative song about murdering and torturing people obvious has some serious issues. This woman oozes hatred from every pore in her body. She's such a fame whoring social climber who will do anything to be successful. You can tell @m83r is the type of person who'd throw their sick grandmother under the bus if it meant she could crack the Hot 30 countdown. She better enjoy her radio success because it's not going to translate to the ARIA charts. She's only getting play because by law Australian radio is required to play a certain percentage of Australian music, and there isn't much Aussie pop out there so they were basically forced by the government to play her.

Interesting mix of opinions. LOL!

Just in response to @m8erH8er - the Aus music quota isn't the reason "10 Date Commandments" is being played. I know so many amazing local pop acts that have tried and failed to get any radio love at all. Even Dannii's last chart ineligible smash failed to make the airplay top 100! However, Kim's presence (any Universal's support) would be a huge help...
